People are finding Juliet's funny blogs everywhere
Funny blogs that turn into poignant moments are natural to Julie's writing style. Since the release of her book Somebody's Always Hungry in May, she has been discovered by others wanting to bring her humanizing touch to their websites. She has become a blogger in residence at two very prominent websites. The most recent is a weekly blog called Safari Moms at a website for young children's, good-habits product and media called Haydenburri Lane. Hilary Hayden Burri, the founder and president of the company, read Julie's stories in her book and knew that she had found a kindred spirit. She hired Julie to blog for her.
The other site that made Julie a blogger in toolbelt is one of the country's most prominent home improvement sites, called Home Tips. Don Vandervort, the company's founder and a recent grandfather, after hearing Julie's book touted by his daughter-in-law who had just given birth, read a few stories right there in the hospital and had an idea: how about a woman's perspective on maintaining a house. So Mom About the House was born. And, then of course, there are the blogsites that Julie created herself from her creative writing: Julie's Motherhood Blog and Julie's Adult Blog. Numerous other sites have featured Julie's writing. It's not just that she writes funny stuff ... there is something very familiar about her voice, as if you were just thinking that.
